In short: we collect what we need to run your account, generate your ads and bill you. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us. You can export or delete your data.
1. Scope
This policy explains how Reelable (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit our website or use the Service. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication details, workspace name and security settings such as multi-factor authentication.
- Brand kits and Inputs: logos, product images, brand name, tagline, call to action, colors and the scene descriptions you write.
- Outputs: shot plans, keyframe images, videos and renders generated for you.
- Billing data: plan, credit balance and history, invoices and limited payment details (such as card brand and last four digits) received from our payment processor.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, log data, and records of the actions you take in the app, used for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
3. How we use data
- To provide the Service: authenticate you, store your brand kits and generate your ads.
- To bill you and track credits, holds, charges, refunds and expiry.
- To keep the Service secure: detect abuse, enforce the Acceptable Use Policy and prevent fraud.
- To support you and send service messages such as receipts, failed-payment notices and policy changes.
- To understand and improve reliability and performance in aggregate.
We do not sell personal data, do not use it for third-party advertising, and do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train models.
4. Legal bases
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service, compliance with legal obligations such as tax records, and your consent where we ask for it.
5. Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Hosting, database, file storage and authentication providers.
- Our payment processor, which handles card details and subscription billing.
- Bot-protection providers used on signup and login forms.
- AI model and compute providers that process your Inputs to generate Outputs on our behalf.
- Email delivery providers for account and billing messages.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.
7. Retention
We keep account data, brand kits and Outputs while your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we delete it from active systems within a reasonable period, and from backups as they rotate. Billing and credit ledger records are kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a data-protection authority. You can request deletion of your content or account, or an export of your data, through support.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and optional multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach affecting your data where the law requires.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes and contact
We will post changes to this policy here and notify you of material changes. Our legal entity and privacy contact details will be listed in the final version of this policy; until then, contact us through in-app support.
